Body Power Ab and Back Machine Review
Body Power Ab and Back Machine Review Results: Excellent Product
Our Body Power Ab and Back Machine review found that this dual function ab machine is the best choice for anybody with a back injury or back pain. It provides relief and lets you effectively strengthen your midsection.
“Get the most from your ab workouts with the two-in-one Body Power Ab and Back Machine ABI1600, which does double duty as an ab exerciser and inversion table.”
Our Body Power Ab and Back Machine Review looks at a device that’s not your typical abdominal exercise machine. It’s actually 2 pieces of equipment in one. While our focus is on finding the best ab machine, there are many people out there with back and knee injuries that can’t use most ab machines.
The Body Power Ab and Back machine (the same as the Body Flex Ab and Back Machine) also functions as an inversion table. By unlocking the back pad you can easily drift downward into a fully inverted position. This lets you gently stretch out your back, elongate your spine to relieve pressure on disks, ligaments and nerve roots.
This is fantastic for those folks with back injuries. Just being upright, standing or sitting, all day allows gravity to do its worst to your back. If your normal routine causes you stress, aches and pains, the Body Power Ab and Back machine is certainly worth a look.
The benefits of decompressing your spine on the Body Power Ab and Back Machine also include improved blood circulation, strengthening your back to better cope with the damaging effects of gravity and even better posture. Taking 10 – 15 minutes every day on the Body Power Ab and Back machine can relive pain and stress and give you a mood boost that stay with you and may even improve your quality of sleep.
Comfort is no worry with the Body Power Ab and Back Machine. Whether in the upright or inverted position, the extra-thick foam padding provides exceptional support. There is also a safety rail if you feel unsteady. A spring-loaded pin on the lower portion of the machine provides for easy adjustment.
The Body Power Ab and Back Machine is truly a great traditional ab machine as well, whether or not you have back issues. You can use it to shed unwanted pounds around your midsection and get lean and toned six pack abs. In the upright position, the Body Power Ab and Back Machine is made for leg lifts/straight leg raises, vertical crunches, vertical knee raises, twisting straight leg raises and twisting vertical knee raises for your obliques (lose those love handles).

Using the Body Power Ab and Back Machine for abdominal exercises is s breeze. Simply use the pin to lock the machine in its upright position. Hold the handles and place your feet under the padded foot bar. Now just lift your legs 90 degrees and you’re in business. The machine is stable and secure for you to switch between the inverted position and upright workout positions with ease. Once you have finished your workout or inversion session, the Body Power Ab and Back Machine folds up neatly for convenient storage.
The Body Power Ab and Back machine is a more traditional abdominal exercise machine. Instead of a unique ab-targeted motion, it provides a comfortable, lower impact platform on which you can perform your standard human-powered exercises. If you are looking for a sharply focused abdominal exercise machine, there are better choices. Also, the maximum weight capacity is 250 lbs. so if you are heavier, the Body Power Ab and Back Machine may not be the best choice for you.
The Body Power Ab and Back Machine renews the possibility of abdominal exercises for people with back injuries. If you have back issues, this really is the perfect solution – especially because those back problems that make exercise difficult can lead to excess weight in the mid section.
To those of you who don’t have back issues, the Body Power Ab and Back Machine is still a great piece of fitness equipment! If you don’t believe the other gimmicky ab machines will do the job and you want a more standard workout for your abs, the Body Power Ab and Back Machine is a great choice.

very sturdy, love the dual funtion but was very unhappy about receiving a black and white back pad instead of what the picture showed(an all black pad).when you care what your home looks like things like color matter!

This unit was easy to assemble, works like it is supposed to. The only problem is when I assembled it and used it for a couple of days a “friend” borrowed it and like the one before it I fear I shall never see it again. Great bang for the buck just dont loan it out.

Came with a missing piece for putting it together. I had to call the company that made it to ask them to send it. They were real good to talk to. So now we`ll see if i get it, so we can finish putting it together. It didn’t have very good instructions on how to use it!

The machine was simple to assemble and has worked well for us. It is adjustable for all sizes and no one has felt uncomfortable using it. We will see how it holds up over time.

Sent this junk back, missing parts, crappy weld with splatter balls on metal surface that were not ground off prior to some of the worst painting I have seen come out of China for a day or two, please for your safety do not by these products!

Pros:
- sturdy, appears to be well built.
- not hard to assemble
- folds up easy for storage
- dual purpose – inversion table and ab exerciser
Cons:
- item arrived with a piece that was machined incorrectly and was missing a welded stud. Had to contact headquarters customer service dept and wait for new part to arrive.
- Due to the defective part. My use was prevented for 7-10 days, as I had to wait on a replacement part.
Comments:
- Be prepared for a heavy box, about 75 pounds. Assembled weight is like 68 lbs. (Hopefully you don’t live on the top floor of a building without an elevator)
- outside of box has a HEAVY WEIGHT label and/or a team lift! (This box is about twice the thickness of the $99 tables you find in your local kmart or walmart).
- To their credit, the company fixed the issue fairly fast. The manufacturer’s CSR I emailed concerning my problem was quick to respond.
- They simply asked for a photo of the part that was defective/machined wrong. I took the pictures, emailed them and within a day or so I had a UPS tracking number.
- The manufacturer had sent a replacement part to me by UPS.

Studied reviews of several inversion tables. Finally selected the ABI1600 & am extremely pleased. Very sturdy! I’m single so I do everything myself. Put together with no help. Mostly just by the pictures in the manual. Was very surprised by the design of the padded back rest! Very sharp. I started out slow at the 40 degrees…glad I did. It takes a little while for your body to adjust. Only took a couple of times & now I’m down to the 2nd safety bar position for 10 mins at a time. Feels good! Love, love, love it! Haven’t tried the Ab exercises yet. Nice to have the option but that’s not my thing. Would highly recommend this machine.

Just would like to let everyone know that the body power ABI1600 is great. It has helped my back & also lets me work my Abs without having to get off and change anything. It puts my body in a total relaxed state of mind. My son has used it also and has had great back relief. I recommend this product to anyone & everyone even if you do not have any back problems just because when you lay on it you feel so relaxed.

It was fairly easy to assemble. The machine is decent and sturdy. I particularly love the inversion/AB blasting 2 in one feature. Great value!

Product looks nice, seems like it’s pretty heavy duty, went together fairly easily…but missing one crucial part! I am not able to use it yet because of the missing part. The company is sending it “soon”, but that doesn’t help my back pain today.

I’ve just received the ABI 1600 Core & Back Machine we ordered through Amazon. It’s great how easy placing the order was and how quickly it was delivered; however, there is a slight problem. Part # 15 (Ankle Tube) measures 7/8″ in diameter. The instructions call for inserting this part into a hole in Part # 14 (Body Height Adjustment Tube) as well as a hole in Part # 02 (Leg Hold Supporting Tube). The problem is that the holes in both Part #s 14 and 2 are only 13/16″ in diameter. The tube is too large to fit into its designated hole. This makes completing the assembly process impossible and the apparatus unusable. I’ve contacted the manufacturer and will follow up when the issue has been resolved…

The machine comes in quite a few pieces that have to be put together. I found it simple but the instructions to put it together are a bit confusing. It makes it look alot more complicated than it is. The instructions for using the machine is not helpful at all. I was trying to figure a way to send it back until I did my own “thing” with it. If you use the back machine, then set the height adjustment 4″ taller than you are. I’m 5’6 so I set it at 5’10. When I use the Ab part, I set it 4″ inches shorter than my height. (5’2″). I think that the height adjustment is based more upon your arm lenght than your height when it comes to the Ab cruncher. After all, you want to feel comfortable when you Ab it. I’m only able to use it for about a minute at a time right now so I have it parked in front of my TV so that I use often during the day. I really feel it hitting my Abs and thighs when I used it. I haven’t used the back part much yet because my big butt makes it feel uncomfortable right now when I suspend backwards. The weight max is 250 lbs. It says not to use it if you exceded that weight. It doesn’t fold up. So far after a few days of having it, it seems to do alright. I guess I’ll see in the long run. When I get my big butt down, I’m anxious to find out how the back part works for me.

I spent alot of time researching & reading reviews on different types of Inversion Tables, including the “Teeter”. For the money I saved and the quality of the product, I can’t say enough positive things about the Body Power AB & Back machine! It does exactly what it says it will do. The stretch relieves all that compression, and I use it faithfully every day for 10 minutes. My husband was very impressed by the workmanship that went into the product, and the easy of assembly. I have chronic lower back pain, and I love to walk every day, but my back just ain’t what it used to be, so as soon as I make it back in from my 2-1/2 mile hike, I head right for the Inversion Table. It is relaxing and gives me total and immediate relief. I am amazed! I weigh 160 lbs., and my ankles are quite comfortable in the cushioned restraints. The Table itself gives support & comfort, as well. It’s so easy to manuever, and just as easy to fold in half for compact wall storage.
I have not used the AB’s part as much, because I am focusing on my lower back and don’t want to put any strain on my back, than is necessary right now. But I will say that I love it so much, I told my Daughter about it, because she is suffering from a ruptured disc, and her Worker’s Comp. Doctor was very enthusiatic about her use of this machine, so I ordered her one as well. She is very glad I did!

It works just like the video showed and it fits in a small room and still I can use it. It helps your body get back into a lineament and its fun.

I have just received and assembled my Body Power ABI1600 Abs/inversion table pruchased from your site. I don ‘t think I have ever purchased anything that had better quality material and workmanship before. Not to mention the ease of assembly. Needless to say, I am pleased as PUNCH!!!!!
